Kayode Ojo
Born 1990 in Cookeville, United States; lives and works in New York, United States.
Kayode Ojo was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1990. Through a practice that spans photography, installation, and performance, Ojo explores the theatricality, artifice, and seduction. In 2012, Ojo graduated with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York. In 2018, he was named as one of Forbes’ “30 Under 30 in Art and Style.” His work has been exhibited at MoMA PS1, the Swiss Institute and the Goethe-Institut Curatorial Residencies in New York, as well as the Università Iuav di Venezia and the Athens Biennale, among many others. His works are included in the public collections of the CCS Hessel Museum of Art in New York, MOCA in Los Angeles, Museum Brandhorst in Munich, and the Studio Museum in Harlem, New York. Ojo lives and works in New York.
