Please join us on March 27th as artists and musicians Phillip Sollmann and Konrad Sprenger present the Modular Organ System.
The Modular Organ System is a technical and sculptural reinvention of the traditional pipe organ. Composed of pipes repurposed from former church organs as well as elements created by Sollmann, Sprenger, and artist Nico Ihlein, it is the first monumental organ that can be relocated and re-engineered according to the acoustics of any space.
The Modular Organ is installed in Sollmann and Sprenger’s ground floor studio at Callie’s. On March 27th, visitors will be able to experience the instrument’s unique sound from our courtyard through open windows. This event marks the conclusion of Sollmann and Sprenger’s residency at Callie’s.
