a.p. is now permanently closed.
Founded in partnership with Callie’s, “a.p.” was a multilingual bookstore oriented around art. Stocking a carefully-edited selection of artists’ books, theory, literature, and poetry, a.p. reflected the cross-disciplinary interests of our communities. Curated sections of books offered new perspectives on themes such as death and grief, labor, and diasporic thought.
A program of talks, readings, and workshops provided opportunities for engagement as well as a platform for experimentation. Bridging a wide range of interests and subject matter, a.p. existed as a generative meeting point where ideas were openly exchanged.
